02.28.05 | Permalink | Comments OffI want “Accidentally in Love” from Shrek 2 to win. It’s definitely the most fun – two of the others are really rather dull show tunes, although the French one is pretty cool. Bum. Ah, well. But the winner sang his acceptance speech. Yay!

Best Animated Short
02.28.05 | Permalink | Comments OffAgain, as with the Best Documentary and Best Live Action Short, they’ve not even given us the slightest idea what these films are like, or why they might actually be worthy of an Oscar. Very annoying. Basically this film called “Ryan” seems to have won Best Animated Short, and I have no idea why…

Chris Rock introduces Jeremy Irons as “comedy superstar”, and Jeremy does, indeed, make with the funny And then one of the nominees basically has to be elbowed awake by his partner And finally, the winner declares the award to be “The Dog’s Bollocks” Best award so far!
