Playing with Brushes

Brushes, an iPhone app, is a nice little painting app for the iPod Touch or iPhone (whichever flavour you have). I’ve been playing with it occasionally, generally when I’ve forgotten to bring a pen and paper along. My attempts to start with broad swathes of colour and then go gradually smaller and smaller have failed rather badly. However, I’ve found a brush combination that will do a nice sketch…

My new desk

I’ve taken delivery of a new desk, which means I now have enough space to bring my graphics tablet out of hiding. I’m hoping that this will mean I actually do some artwork occasionally…

The old desk is going back into the spare room, to be my (theoretical) physical art station.

Hourly Comic Day

Today – well, yesterday, as it’s well after Midnight – was Hourly Comic Day, and I had a go. The idea is to do a comic for each waking hour of the day, documenting that hour. Didn’t manage it entirely, as I was running a Dark Champions game at Livingston. Turns out you can’t GM a game and draw comics at the same time.
