Although I have posted no actual words today, I have done over a thousand words of plotting; not something I’d call an outline yet, but maybe with some more work. I actually have my bad guy, and my bad guy’s plan, which is a fair chunk of the battle. Up until recently, I knew my heroes were going to discover the bad guy’s plan, and presumably later the bad guy himself, but it’s difficult to know how to move forward if you don’t know where you’re going.
What I need now is a good reason for my gang of misfits to actually get involved, and preferably a means of delaying things until such time as ex-brother Betto can learn to fight. I may be able to work backwards to the extent that I connect up to what I’ve written up until now.
Fortunately, due to my imposing a two thousand word daily goal as opposed to the normal 1,667 that you actually need, I’m actually still technically ahead, although I’ll need to have resume putting actual words in tomorrow.
