"Creative Slacker" referrs to the fact that I should be doing creative stuff - writing, art, 3D animation, RPG stuff, but I don't. Maybe "lazy bastard" would be more appropriate.

contact lenses get easier with time - if you don't mind poking yourself in the eye every day. Don't be afraid to pinch quite hard getting them out, sometimes you need to, to break the suction seal thingy they do with your eye. Next time we meet up I can give you some demonstrations and tips (I have worn lenses for a terrifying 14 or so years. OMG I'm old!) Oh, also I found that in the early days lenses did give me a headache - you eyes are adjusting to a lens right on them, rather than a few centimetres in front. This is better for you in the long run - as the center of the lens is exactly where it needs to be all the time. Sometimes with the slippage of glasses you are straining your eyes through a less optimal part of the lens. Long term glasses wearers acclimatise to this and when I switched to lenses I found the *lack* of straining gave me a bit of a headache.

I have rambled extensively, and probably not at all helpfully. :) Still, thanks for the link, and for minimal Who spoilers - I have yet to watch the new lot.
