Again, I didn’t really start until 6pm, and again I didn’t really get that much outline done. However, I still managed to get my 2000 words in, and that was despite a really interesting Time Team special about a Roman Circus (huge chariot-racing stadium) in Colchester, and The Fellowship of The Ring being shown on Channel 4. I did attempt to start at 4pm, but basically fell asleep instead. I deliberately got into a pretty uncomfortable position, on the grounds that if I managed to fall asleep like that, I must really need it. Guess I needed it.
Meanwhile, he midnight cutoff thing, while understandable, now means I have no idea how many words I actually wrote on a given day. I may start some separate count for my own satisfaction.
In other news, if you click the NaNoWriMo Progress link at the top of the blog, you’ll see that some of the previously blank fields have now been filled in – unfortunately, they’ve been filled with what appears to be nonsense. But I do get the nice black line that says I’ve gone over 10K words. A fifth of the way there!
Update: Blogger was down when I actually wrote this post, and in the meantime, the NaNoWriMo progress report page has been repaired! It now has sensible numbers in it!
