Well, another day, another 2k. But as this is Day 10, that means I’ve hit 2K! Another black line on my Progress Report…

A bit roller-coastery today; started a little late (despite this being Friday, when I get to leave an hour earlier than usual), and despite being very tired, managed quite a lot in a couple of hours. Picture the scene; I have built up the couch using pillows into a fairly comfortable reclining position, I’m lying with my head back, eyes closed, and the laptop on my lap + a couple of pillows, typing away. I love being able to touch-type!

Anyway, ’round about then, I got myself distracted by research (chimpanzee hand-rearing methods) and the NaNoWriMo forums (only a very small amount of which could be considered research) until I realised it was nearly 9, and I’d Better Get A Move On. And so I end another day where I pretty much hit (or slightly exceed) 2k just as midnight rolls around. I’m in da groove!

I think I’ll take it easy this weekend, and not to try to do overmuch; however, I’d quite like to get back those thousand words I didn’t on day 8 – that shouldn’t be asking too much…
