Much better than last week’s, but still not very good. Most of it was fairly solid if uninspiring New Who, but the overdone “love conquers all” theme and the Doctor’s final action were just too much. So basically it was an okay episode with one or two really bad moments.
Next week – the first part of the end-of-season double-header – looks like it could be good, though.
