It’s too hot! Too hot to sleep!
Tomorrow I am going to buy a mains-operated fan for my bedroom, thus ensuring that all subsequent nights will have freezing weather. Possibly snow.

Anyway, I thought you Aussies could take that kind of heat in a fur coat…
Well, we’ve been up to 40 degrees C in the midwest now…but houses here have A/C so at least there’s some escape. You have my sympathy (but I’m not parting with my air conditioner).
It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity…
When you’re right, you’re right. It is bloody roasting. I hate the heat. Plus, I’m on nights at the moment, and sleeping through the day when it’s this hot is proving somewhat more problematic than it usually would be.
