In the middle of all this Oscar blogging, I had a mind to play nethack, but discovered that I didn’t appear to have a copy on my machine (?), so I do an apt-get install nethack and discover that somehow I’ve interrupted a dpkg –configure (run by apt-get) and now it looks like my linux system is going to have to do some major installation stuff which may or may not kill my linux box. And as that’s my conduit to the outside world, this is… troubling.

Well, let’s hope for the best…
