I knew that I was going to be disappointed by my machine’s ability to run Doom3. In fact, I’ve been thinking of installing it as “being disappointed by Doom3″ for quite some time now.
However, I did hope. After all, I’ve got an entire 1GHz over the recommended specs, and my graphics card is supposed to be usable. It’s pretty slow, and that’s before I actualyl got into any combat. The graphics are pretty, and all the NPCs have lovely lipsynch – if only my machine could actually run it real time!
I reckon it’s got to be the settings on the card, somehow. Ah, well.
