Just back from ChocolateMuffin’s birthday party. Expect a “It’s n o’clock and I am less than sober” post from SixFootHobbit later
Cool fun. The usual unusual conversations (Batman, Lycanthrope pregnancy, the morality of killing Orcs), and us killing each other at random intervals (alas, my target wouldn’t go into the kitchen! Darn her, not walking to her doom…). I survived, largely due to my assassin misunderstanding the distinction between “stairs” and “hallway”. Actually, I’m not sure that game ever came to anything resembling a conclusion…
Irritatingly, when I left, I discovered that my front light batteries had died. It’s extremely annoying the way this happens – the light seems to be working fine, then suddenly when you try it the “no battery left!” light comes on. No actual warning or anything. I need to start keeping batteries in my backpack on a permanent basis. I’d just bought a big pack AAA batteries for my rear light (which does the same thing, on an alternating schedule with the front light), but the front takes AA…
Fortunately Muffin had some batteries in the house. So that ended well.
Night time for me, I believe…
