I was planning to write a post about how irritating the fight against Diablo is in Diablo II – basically, you have to clear out two areas, open five seals, each triggering a wave of bad guys, and then fight Diablo himself. And if you stop the game at any point you have to do the whole thing again.

So I’ve been keeping the game running, and getting back to it as and when. I was going to do the post I mentioned after my last run at Diablo (having cleared out the areas, opened the seals, and blatted the things summoned by the seals) – but to my amazement, I killed Diablo! I didn’t even die that many times! I basically just Blizzarded him to death, targetting him at the very edge of the screen and letting the falling snow take him down.

So now Miranda is Dame Miranda, and starting again on “Nightmare” level. With all my kit. Muahahaha.
